BEST International

BEST, the Board of European Students of Technology is a constantly growing non-profit and non-political student organisation. It's made by students for students. Since 1989 BEST provides communication, co-operation and exchange possibilities for students all over Europe.

83 so-called Local BEST Groups (LBGs) in 30 European countries are creating a growing, well organised, powerful, young and innovative student network. Check out this map to see where to find any LBG throughout Europe.

BEST strives to provide European students of technology with development opportunities, so that they become more internationally minded and reach a better understanding of European cultures by broadening their knowledge of other cultures and developing capacities to work on an international basis. BEST hopes to bring a significant added value to the services provided by universities, for increasing the potential contribution of students to their communities. To reach the given aims BEST creates opportunities for the students to meet and learn from one another through academic and non-academic courses and educational symposia.

The priority of BEST is to offer high quality services for students all over Europe and manage to bring all the partners in the "student - company - university" triangle closer.

BEST Vienna

BEST Vienna is an association registered in Austria with the aim to provide students of technology with development opportunities so that they could become more internationally minded, reach a better understanding of European diversity by broadening their knowledge of other cultures and develop capacities to work on an international basis. The priority of BEST is to offer high quality services for students and manage to bring all the partners in the "student - company - university" triangle closer.

In order to achieve its aim, BEST Vienna makes it possible for all the students at Vienna University of Technology to participate at public BEST academic and non-academic courses and even take part in organising such events.

BEST Vienna was founded at the beginning of the year 2002 by eight students who were highly interested to establish new international contacts and wanted to get involved into global student activities. Today there are almost 30 students of the TU Vienna with different fields of study, actively working for BEST Vienna to constantly improve and expanse our services for regular (non BEST members) students.
