Evaluation and Deposit Return
After the course you must evaluate the course via the BEST application system. After you have done that (as long as you participated in the course) you can get your deposit back. After the sommer-season there usually are deposit-return parties, where you can meet us and other people returning from courses. But you can also always just come to a meeting to get it back.
Course Information Form (CIF)
At the end of the course you should have recieved a course information form, as well as a certificate. With the CIF you can try to get the course recognized.
How to get your course recognized?
After successfully having participated in a BEST course, you can try to get it recognized at Vienna University of Technology.
First you have to search for a TU Vienna course with approximately the same title and course contents. Further on, the course has to have the same or less ECTS points than the BEST course you attended. You cannot choose a TU Vienna course which has more ECTS points than your BEST course. Also do not take a compulsory course but an optional subject. Chances are much higher that you get it granted.
Bring the form to your dean of study who will decide whether you get the BEST course recognized for your chosen TU Vienna course. There is no right for recognition, but in case you found a reasonable TU Vienna Course and filled out everything correctly, it should work.
